City of Bono Smoke Test on Wastewater Lines

The City of Bono would like to inform you in the next few weeks we will be conducting a smoke test on the wastewater lines.

If you experience smoke inside your residence it could be a sign of faulty plumbing, improper connections or dry traps in your plumbing. The smoke is harmless and non staining. It will quickly exit by opening windows and ventilating. If you experience indoor smoke coming from under sinks or any fixtures you need to contact a plumber to check your plumbing. Faulty plumbing is a sign that sewer gases could be entering your home and can be harmful to your health when not corrected.

Sink holes in your yard or clean out caps missing will let rain water in your sewer line and will need to be repaired as soon as possible.
