The City of Bono is excited to announce the launch of our new TEXTMYGOV text alerts service.

This provides residents with important news, events, and emergency information to residents via text message. With this new service, residents can stay informed and connected to what’s
happening in their community.

The goal of this program is to keep citizens informed about what is happening in their community. City of Bono is asking you to OPT-IN, reply “YES” and let the City of Bono keep you informed about your community.

Residents will receive text message notifications for things like Road closures, Water, Sewer emergencies, City of Bono News Letter, and Upcoming events. We will be able to inform you by text about water repairs, sewer repairs that may impact your service location. This will also allow us to notify you of Clean Sweep dates and other important community events such as the Christmas Parade, Fall Festival.

Residents can expect to receive ALERTS, text messages with a notification for each alert category opted-in to.
Residents will automatically be opted in to receive text notifications but can opt-out from all text alerts at any time by texting “STOP” to 91896.

Residents can also sign up for text alerts at any time by opting into any of the following notification lists.
For Citywide Notifications, text “BONO” to 91896.
For City Water Alerts, text “BONOWATER” to 91896.
